My ex used to do that, and we did NOT work out. That’s rude. If he had something to say about weight gain or your health, he could spare the harsh comments and chose his words more wisely.

My husband actually gets mad when I call myself fat, he never once calls me anything but beautiful. 
If your boyfriend is calling you fat, that’s not cool. If my husband ever did that to me, we would have a serious talk. If he said something about watching my weight because he was worried about my health, that’s different than saying I look fat or gross or whatever. If he just plain called me fat, I can’t even say exactly what I’d do. But if he didn’t apologize, and didn’t see anything wrong with it, we probably wouldn’t be staying together.
