Ziplocs for breast milk?

Question

Have any of you used ziploc freezer bags to store breast milk in instead of breast milk bags? It’d just be so much cheaper to do it that way but I don’t want to waste breastmilk....

Breastmilk bags are preferred because they are sterile inside or the reusable ones are made to be sanitized/sterilized, ziplock bags are not made the same

My friend did it and she suggested to me that you shouldn't store it in the bag itself bc it leaks. But you can put your breast milk bag in it.
