Breast to Bottle for work...how?

Hello!
I return to work next week, I'm having some anxiety about it because my baby wont take a bottle. She has been nursing since birth. She will be 3 months old in 4 days. How do I get her to transition over to a bottle while I'm at work but continue to nurse while I'm around?

After 3 days my baby took a bottle!!! It was so stressful. She takes the NUK Simply Natural. Dad is the best for working with her everyday while I was at work.

Have you tried having someone else offer your baby the bottle while you are not around? A lot of the time, babies won't take bottles from their mothers or if the mother is around because they know the boob is there ("give up the goods, sister!")

You should try to leave for a couple hours. I know it is super hard and you probably cry the whole time, but your baby can smell you if you are there. I had the same with my son and now he takes the bottle just fine even if I feed him a bottle (I skipped the 11am feeding so that I was forced to offer a bottle on a daily basis). Now my son does just fine but some days he drinks less than others (40-140ml difference). Try to offer it daily, heated and just a little (20-30ml) you can increase slowly.
