How much milk do you keep frozen?
Hi! My daughter is 8 weeks. I pump while I am at work and nurse her when I am at home, and so far that's going well for us. Early on, while I was still at home and breastfeeding exclusively, I would pump once a day to start building a stash in my freezer. Now that I work again I often get more than my baby eats, and I freeze that, too. Right now we probably have around 200 ounces in our freezer (part of refrigerator, but separate door, so it will last a few months), and space is getting tight since we also have food in there. I have never actually needed to thaw any of that milk so far, so I am wondering if I should continue to freeze milk. I realize the stash would be helpful in emergencies or could allow me to stop feeding sooner. I am just wondering how much I really need. How much do you keep in your freezer stash? Did you stop at some point because you felt that you had enough? Thanks!
