Question

For those of you who have other children, how do you manage to breast feed? I have a 5 year old and a 2 and a half year old. They still have needs and I’m so scared that I’ll be taking away from them. I just ordered my breast pump but, now I’m not sure what I want to do. 😔

I have an 8 yr old 5 yr old and 3 month old. At first it did feel like I was taking away from my older kids because the baby nursed so frequently and so long. Now he nurses about every 2 hours during the day and only for about 10 min each time. When he does eat I can still play with my older kids. We play board games or they sit with us and read books. I also try to time feedings when they can have their screen time. No bottles to wash or prep helps save time too

Books are your best friend! I started reading the BFG to my daughter and it gets us through feedings.
