If you left an abusive relationship and found out that you are pregnant?

I would hope that I could be strong enough to stay away from my ex. Me personally, I would like to think that I would keep the baby and do whatever it took to make things work out. Hope you can figure things out for yourself if this is what you’re going through ❤️

If my life was in danger I would get an abortion. I wouldn’t want to live my life afraid of him but still attached to him because of the baby. If it’s mental abuse, I’d keep the baby and live my life. I wouldn’t tell him

I was. And I had an abortion. I don’t regret it and I happy I did but I know that isn’t for everyone. If you dont want a baby and don’t want an abortion consider adoption. It’s tricky if you keep it. I considered keeping it but I don’t know if I would have told him.  Expect him to either reel you back in to the relationship or completely deny it’s his/refuse to help. If you decide to keep this baby make your plan without him. Don’t expect anything to go right with him, but please don’t go back to him if he’s already abusive. 
You can make a life just you and the baby without that guy. Really it’s about what you want to do. And if he helps, great! But I wouldn’t count on it

Get a perm. restraining order. Keep yourself away from him, block any of his friends family etc on an social media. Or better yet just delete it all completely. Put your babys safety and yours first. He has no parental rights what so ever unless you are married or he does a paternity test. (Depending on your state but I believe its pretty normal for most) I have a close friend of mine who is going through a similar situation and that is the route she took. Im sorry you are going through this but just remember at the end of the day your baby is counting on you to make the best choices, I would not tell the father. If you are no longer together you could have became pregnant after you split. (Even though you didnt but that isnt for anyone to know) Also, move. Even if its within the same area, that way he doesnt know where you live.
