Help! Early labor?

Anna

I work a desk job, and I don’t get up very often due to severe pelvic pain. Wednesday afternoon, I was sitting at my desk, and I started having cold sweats, contractions about 8 minutes apart, and felt nauseous and dizzy. I called my OB’s office, they told me to come in. I went in and he said my cervix was open, but not severely dilated. He wanted me to go home, put my feet up, and to call back the next day if it was still happening. Well, it continued through the night, and yesterday after lunch I called the office back and told them I was still having the contractions and SEVERE back pain. They told me to come to the office but that a different doctor was there. When this doctor checked, He said my cervix wasn’t open and that I was having Braxton Hicks contractions. That I needed to stop being on my feet and “shopping” and that they would quit (but I’ve been at home and off my feet completely) and also said the back pain was normal and I was overthinking it.

Here we are another 24 hours later, and I’m still having contractions every 10 minutes... what should I do? I won’t call until the second doctor is off his rotation. I cannot stand him (same doctor who told me to suck it up when I miscarried)

This is my second baby, third pregnancy. I’m 35 weeks and 3 days.
