Uh help.

My boyfriend told me we should chill on having sex because he doesn’t wanna follow his sisters path. (She got pregnant at a young age and is now struggling with money etc) I kinda feel like he’s being truthful but at the same time I don’t know if he is, we’ve been dating for 9 months now and he brings it up out of nowhere
