Who woild you pick your family or your partner?

If you had to choose between one, your family (parents, siblings other relatives) or your partner who would you pick? Hypothetically

Neither if they’re making me choose. That’s not real love on either end.

I was raised being taught that once you get married, your spouse comes before anyone/everyone besides your kids. My husband was raised that way as well. My dad would legit tell me to get my shit together if I tried putting my husband second

My partner. My father would never make me choose and he's the only family I'm close to. So I don't care what the others think.

I'm sorry but my mother is waaayyyy too important to me. I'd of course love my husband but if hes making me choose I'm going to assume we just dont be long together. Family that has never given up on you is irreplaceable.  Too many ppl willing to forget family.

I hope to never be in that situation. My husband is currently not speaking to them but he would never make me choose between them. He just wants me to respect his wishes which I do. I want us all to be close especially since we live within 30 minutes of my side but I won’t push him or make him feel guilty for feeling the way he does. My mom and sister are basically best friends of mine so cutting ties wouldn’t be ok with me. 
I would, however, move farther away to make him happy if that’s what he wanted. He is my number 1 best friend and love of my life.
