Been a hairdresser I think going darker would wash your skin out your quite pale in skin tone so I think going darker would make you look even paler

If it's clothing you're after, then I'd go with colors that contrast with your skin. Earth tones might be a good place to start because your hair is already brown. I'd also be judicious with neutrals, especially gray because it would make your skin look washed-out.
