Baby shower for baby #2 ?

Would it be ok to have a baby shower for baby #2? I already have a boy at home but we find out tomorrow if we are having a boy or girl, so if I have another boy would it be too much to ask people to come to another baby shower?

I’m having a diaper and wipes party for my second son. They will only be 21 months apart so I don’t need any of the big stuff.

I never understood why people say you can’t have more than 1 baby shower!

Yes have one! I through my good friend a sprinkle shower. She was having a boy and already had a boy. So she didnt need a lot just a sprinkle of things. If you happen to have a girl than you might need a few more things but it's always nice to get some new stuff for the new baby. :)

I think it depends on how close in age they’ll be.  I’d probably do more of a bbq type party or a diaper party than a traditional shower

A “shower” yes it’s too much. A bbq or sprinkle is totally cool. Watch the name of the event bc people will get all 🙄 on you. 
I think a low key get together with family and close friends is sweet. I never mind giving an outfit and a case of diapers at these events. I don’t go all out with big presents for kid #2 usually.
