Has anyone else tested positive for Group B Strep?

It had absolutely no affect on me. They it's put some medicine in my iv during labor. It wasnt a big deal at all.

I tested positive for it last pregnancy I felt fine but had to have shots during labor, sense I was allergic to penicillin I had to have 4 separate shots 4 hrs apart. She arrived though one hour exactly after my water broke so I only got one shot so she had to stay in the hospital an extra couple days to be certain she would be ok.

I didn't test positive, but my OB said that all they do differently is give you an antibiotic before you deliver. If you have a c-section, you won't need it. It's only if you deliver vaginally because it can cause complications with baby if contracted.

Right they really don't explain it much I had it my first pregnancy but not for this one

They gave me antibiotics and I never heard about it again. My doc at the time said it was common.
