He doesn’t get me.

I’ve never posted anywhere about this but I’m just at my wits end. I have recently been diagnosed with anxiety and depression and I’m on sertraline which I started taking 4 days ago. I’m struggling because my partner doesn’t really get how I feel and nor should he but has absolutely no sympathy for me. I have a ten year old and a 5 month old. He just laughs in my face when my anxiety flares up and turns every argument around on me when actually he has been a pretty shitty boyfriend to me and the things he has done has effected our family but he just laughs it off. Do I make a clean break and work on myself or try and get him to understand? X
