Okay so reading on here all the time, I constantly see women who need to take plan B and are nervous if it will work in time.

I just want to inform everyone that the copper iud, in cases of unprotected sex, can be inserted up to 5 days after unprotected sex!!! And anywhere in your cycle! It’s MUCH more effective than plan B, and not to mention it’s LONG LASTING. 10-12 years. And then guess what? You won’t have to be messing up your cycles by taking plan B constantly.

I know that the copper IUD is substantially more expensive than plan b, but if you think about it and break it down by 10 years, its definitely worth it! And that’s with ANY birth control, iuds (hormonal, and copper), pills, implants, shots, patches....etc. it’s all a better and more effective than plan b!

Just making this post because I feel like a lot of women don’t know that the copper IUD is the MOST effective emergency contraception! ❤️❤️❤️ and you don’t need to be messing up your cycles!
