Crazy birth story
I always end up with the craziest wild birth stories. Due to gestational diabetes and my second being over 9 pounds i was scheduled to be induced at 39 weeks. I was told to be there 1201 Friday March 8. I arrived they blew 3 veins trying to get my iv in (ouch, worst thing ever) finally they get in a spot on my thumb. Totally weird and painful. So they start pumping me with fluids. I’m dilated between a 4 and 5 So they skip putting the stuff in my cervix to ripen it. So they just keep pumping fluids and plan to start Pitocin around 6am. I have contractions off and on all night on my own. 6 rolls around the doctor had emergency so couldn’t start Pitocin yet. They finally start it around 830 9. Slowly gets them going really good. His head just didn’t want to come all the way down. So i dilated about to an 8 and didn’t go any further. The doctor finally comes to break my water around 125 130ish. I have a couple real intense contractions after that. The doctor had done left at this point. I told her that i was definitely feeling tons of pressure and was naturally wanting to push. She checked me i was still not complete yet. And then said she would check me in about couple more contractions. She was about to leave the room took her gloves off and everything. Next contraction i knew. I’m just like he’s coming now. I can’t stop it. She rips my blanket off. she’s yelling at me to stop hang on. Don’t push. And it was just too late i couldn’t stop. There was no stopping. I was trying but couldn’t. So this nurse was balls deep without gloves or anything trying to at first stop me pushing. Then trying to catch him. 😂 my mom is running out in the hall yelling for help. He just came out in probably not even a full one minute. So Benjamin Allen Nosbisch was born at 140pm weighing 8 pounds 14 ounces 20 inches long. The doctor didn’t even get there for probably another 10 minutes. Just to deliver my placenta. No tears or stitches. Feeling pretty amazing besides my muscles being sore. I always end up being the talk of the hospital. My second i was in labor less than 3 hours and showed up at the hospital ready to push her out. The doctor barely made it in time for her as well. So happy he’s finally here and was able to have another completely all natural birth with no need for stitches!
