Baby pacifier thermometer?

A temporal thermometer (the one you roll over the forehead and behind the ear) would be more accurate and still make it easier. The pacifier wouldn't reach far enough in the mouth or be in the right place to give an accurate oral reading.

Normally these are not accurate. We purchased the Braun ear one that the doctors offices use and if it shows a fever we then take a rectal temp (with a rectal thermometer). Normally it's accurate and occasionally off by .1 only.

I run an in home daycare, and multiple moms have packed these for their kiddos. Different brands too. None of them have been even close....I was excited at first to try, but so disappointed

From what I've read they're not as accurate as other types. But such a cool idea.
