Baby not drinking her milk?

Question

Ordinarily she will drink 5oz, but occasionally she decides to not drink any of her milk and to spit it all out, despite not having eaten for a long time. Does anybody have any tricks to get her to drink?

Is it your milk or formula? My first son did that too for milk that wasn’t just pumped and it turned out because I produced excessive lipase (spelling?), the enzyme that helps the baby break down the milk. This happens a lot but most babies don’t notice because they breast feed. We have to almost boil the milk right after pumping before storing it. Try that and see if your baby like sit better!  Good luck!!

Stroke her chin while she’s eating, it encourages her sucking motion. My son starts falling asleep or it’s drooling out of his mouth and I do it as a reminder for him
