Is your child still rear facing?

I know they should be rear facing until age 2. But we made the decision today to turn the carseat forward. Our daughter is almost 36 inches tall. She was getting to the point of dreading the car every single time. She would cry and scream. This was the right decision for us. Is your child still rear facing?? ***no judgement please***

Its tempting to turn it around but safety first for us. LO will survive being mad in the car.

My son is 24lb and was about 33in at his checkup in December so I'd guess he's around 35in tall now based on his change in clothing fit. Still rear facing. Obviously every car seat has different limits, so for reference; his car seat is the Britax Advocate ClickTight convertible car seat. I'll keep him rear facing until he hits the limits for it of 40lb and/or 49in tall:

Our state law requires they hit all 3; age, height and weight before changing to forward facing.
We are just waiting for age now since she's met the other two.

My son is super tall and 30 lbs. he was just too cramped in his rear facing seat so we turned him to forward facing last weekend and it’s made a huge difference. The minimum weight for forward facing in his car seat is 24 lbs so he way exceeds that. It’s only eight weeks early so, I’m all for it.

Turned my son at 92cm tall and 33lb he did have a good car seat but he is strong and kept forcefully pushing the seat

We’re keeping her rear facing as long as we can! She’s still pretty petite at a whopping 21 lbs

My son is 24 lbs and 33-34 in. tall and will be rear facing until he reaches the limit for rear facing. We were in a car accident with him and the doctors said that he barely got injured because he was rear facing so I’ll be keeping him that way. 
I totally get understand though. My son hates being in the car and would probably be happier forward facing!
