Do you (or will you) tell your daughter she's beautiful?

I know some people argue that telling a girl she's beautiful all the time will cause her to build her self-worth around being beautiful. Curious what you mamas do with your daughters.

Will my boys I compliment them on everything.  Not just you're handsome,  but you're smart, you're strong,  things like that

Yes, but I also tell her all the time that she is kind, intelligent, creative and strong (inside and out).

Yes. I will also tell her she is smart and strong and kind and many other amazing attributes.

I teach my children that being beautiful comes from within.

I tell both of my kids (boy and girl). “You’re good, strong, smart and have Jesus in your heart”. ☺️

I tell my daughter she’s beautiful but I more often complement her more on being sweet, kind and smart. I hope to always encourage matters of the heart and mind and to compliment things she can control.

I found this when my daughter was born and it made me cry my eyes out. Hopefully I’ll be able to be able to explain to her how much she changed my life instead of just calling her beautiful ❤️

I don’t have kids yet but I tell my two cats that they are handsome princes everyday. Im sure I will do the same to human children, boys or girls. 😆

Apparently I tell my one year old he is beautiful so often that when someone says a tree or a sunset is beautiful, he points excitedly to himself. 
I am more careful and specific and varied when complementing older toddlers and kids though.

My daughter is only 16 months so she does not really understand. However, both my husband and myself tell her she is beautiful every single day, multiple times a day!👌🏾 We will continue to do so, even she becomes an adult.🤷🏾‍♀️ Growing up, my parents told me I was beautiful everyday! They still tell me I am beautiful today. I do not even see them often (at least not in person, I see them everyday on FaceTime) and they still tell me I am beautiful every single day. Nothing is wrong with telling your daughter she is beautiful!🙌🏾
