Any recommendations for snapping a 1 and a half year old out of tantrums?

Once he starts there's no stopping it. It's getting to the point he self-harms by scratching his face or biting his hands and I can't even put him in the crib or on the floor because he's bruising his legs and feet from kicking. He also gets nosebleeds on occasion from the sheer force of him screaming.

Average length on tantrum is reaching 30 minutes.

He doesn't want to be held or touched, doesn't want a bottle, doesn't want to be left alone. Idk what to do with him.
