Has everyone lost there mucus plug before going into labour?

Question

I’m 38+2 days now and I am tired of being pregnant. I get these on and off signs that my labour is going to start then nothing.
I’ve had cramps, back pain etc but just nothing mega. 
Does everyone lose their mucus plug or no?

I was worried about losing mine in the shower, not noticing and therefore not knowing how close I was to labor, but figured the chance of being in the shower the moment I lost it was slim. Well I lost it in the shower, totally unmistakable feeling, even though it was my first baby I knew exactly what I was feeling, I actually started having contractions about 2 hours later, had my baby about 26 hours later.

I didn’t lose my plug or bloody show until my waters had gone. 
The night before I gave birth I had this extreme pain down in my abdomen and my stomach kept going tight, I just thought maybe she got herself into a weird position. I woke up the next day at 9:20, made a coffee, sat on the sofa and as I took my first sip of coffee at 9:35 my waters went 🙂 so no, not everyone loses it before.

I've been losing mine off and on this pregnancy. It means nothing really. Everyone is different

Never lost mine (or had any other signs of early labor).  Labor started spontaneously at 40+3.

Lost some with the first, but the second time it didn’t start coming out until I was in active labor
