BFPs and engagement rings?

Am I missing something or is there some ligitimate reason that people put their engagement rings in their pregnancy test photo? It kind of seems unnecessary to me.

It is for focus, but I guess a lot of women also see their engagement and pregnancy as a personal accomplishment declaring to the world two people who are in love have made a baby. I see it as a nice thing. Nothing wrong with not being engaged/married and being in love and having babies either.

It is weird. Lol.  They say to focus the camera however 1. Its 2019 and phones focus on their own and 2. Why not use something else, why remove your ring ?  Then some people just do it anyway like even on a digital 😂
