Why are relationships always complicated??

Basically long complicated story short.. my question is should I continue to text him first?

I have to text him first if I wanna talk...

When I asked him about it in person he said “I’m just not a phone guy”...

The conversation basically consists of questions by me and answers my him..

-We have gone on 2 dates

-Been talking on and off since last September

-says he wants to hangout again

-it’s hard to hangout because of his work schedule

-when he’s not at work he’s doing family stuff

What do I do?
