Help!!!

So this morning my husband said he had an ingrown hair where his shaft and balls meet. I went with a tweezer and pulled out a hair. Today when he got home today it looks like a cold sore. My biggest concern is that he genital herpes but didn't get it from me. He is going to the doctor the day after next. I cannot handle the possibility of him stepping out.
