Is it safe to consume wine while pregnant?

I will ask my doctor of course but I wanted to get feedback first to avoid sounding like an alcoholic. Some articles say it’s actually beneficial to have wine daily when pregnant. What do you think?

It’s a proven fact that alcohol can endanger your unborn child. Yes.. the quantity comes into question, but why risk it? 
I personally think anything that has the potential to harm your child should be avoided.

It's not a black and white answer. From my understanding no one really knows where the safety line is drawn when it comes to alcohol in pregnancy.

A glass once or twice through your pregnancy will literally make no difference. 
Back in the day they used to celebrate with champagne when they found out they were pregnant 🤷🏼‍♀️

My hubby and 2 of his 3 siblings have essential tremors. My husbands is the worst. He can hardly sign his name and has trouble getting a spoon of cereal up to his mouth without his hand shaking all of it out. His mother “casually” drank during her pregnancies. Not saying that’s 100% what caused it, but the doctors have implied it’s VERY possible. 
I would never, ever risk it.

I've had a glass of wine about once a month since getting pregnant, though I don't really enjoy it like I used to and I often end up pouring most of it out.
Some studies suggest that less than one drink per week (one shot, one 12-ounce beer, or one 4-ounce glass of wine) is completely harmless during pregnancy. 
Pretty much everyone agrees that binge drinking, even once or twice, is very bad.
There are no known benefits to drinking while pregnant though so you can safely avoid it altogether.

Since it’s unknown how much consumed can do harm to your child it’s advised to not drink at all. Personally it is not worth the risk at all.
