I voted yes before I actually opened the post and realize you were talking about your son. I thought you were talking about your husband. I would actually have voted NO if it were for the boy.

Why not? If you don’t care, it’s just hair anyways it grows back

As long as you don’t care sure why not. Me personally no way. This is my son, I love his long baby hair. Btw in case your curious that was the remainder of his smash cake lol

I should have hit no.  I wouldn’t do that to my baby but it’s up to you. It will grow back though.

My nephew had his hair buzzed when he was 3 months old. He was born with enough hair to have a 4” Mohawk... and his hair is perfectly fine now. It’s actually a lot thicker and fuller now at 10 months

My son wouldn't let anyone near him with the scissors he would constantly dodge them would seemed like a safety issue so I buzzed his hair at 18 months and he sat in my husbands lap. He cried the first few times. He is 4 now he sits and lets me do it. He complains about it but no crying and he isn't afraid. Your son's hair doesn't seem quite long enough. We had to to my son's because he had a ton in the back and not much in the front so it looked a little silly once he had quite a bit.

Take him to a salon and have them trim it rather than buzzing it...or trim it yourself if you feel confident. My son gets nervous even getting it cut and I think he’d be super scared with buzzing.
