Terrible twos?

Anyone else dealing with a very whiny and clingy 2 year old? Hoping this is just a phase🙏🏼

Yessss! Literally right when she turned 2. Glad we are not the only ones. She's been so clingy with her pacifier. If I don't give it to her she will throw a huge tantrum, bawl her eyes out, and will force herself to throw up. Looks like we won't be kicking that to the curb soon. 
I also hate the public meltdowns! I try to get through it and normally do but the amount of stares I receive is ridiculous! Like no one has seen a toddler having a meltdown before.

I’m loving this age because all the things that could be perceived as annoying are all developmentally appropriate.

I highly recommend the books “peaceful parents, happy kids” and “no drama discipline” they are full of ideas on things to can do that can help a toddler want to cooperate at this age. I swear they’re life changing magic!

I’m starting to deal with the public throwing fits ! That’s totally not ok with me seem like my daughter know if she in public she can just act all sorts of ways and that’s just make me look like 😒 she becoming more of a hand full

My son had his party the day after he turned 2 and he apparently decided that since he is 2 now he was going to be a turkey and throw fits, not that he hadn't done it before but he is now saying no a lot more and getting really upset when he doesn't get what he wants. The morning of his party my husband and I were rushing around trying to get everything ready and he was doing everything he could to make it as difficult as he could, he would say he was hungry, we would give him something to eat and he would throw it on the floor, he wanted a toy, we would give it to him and he would scream and throw it. The hardest thing is when he throws a public fit and I can't physically pick him up as he is so strong and big. But at the same time he also climbs into my lap several times a day to give me a hug and a kiss and tells me and dada that he loves us. I recommend the book Toddlers are a-holes, it is hysterical and makes you realize you are not alone.
