Ear stretching?

I want to stretch my ears and was just wondering about the process of doing it. So yeah, advice, tips, tricks, experiences, I would just like to gather some information.

Go slow, don’t skip sizes, use some type of lubricant to make it easier (i use jojoba oil), and don’t try to force a taper through. Currently at a 0g. I used to be at a 00g then sized down, then sized back up to where I am now.

Currently I am at a 6 gauge. I will most likely be stopping at a 2 gauge as I have read that anything beyond that is deemed “the point of no return”. I think it honestly depends on your body & how the elasticity is in your ears. I MIGHT go higher depending on how the 2 gauge looks on me. Like obviously I am stretching my ears because I want people to notice they’re stretched & also it has honestly been a fun process to go through! Though, it does hurt like hell, I will say!
Anyway, I read a TON of articles online & watched a million YouTube videos on people stretching their lobes & the pros & cons, etc. Basically what I have learned is that it is very important to only use stainless surgical steel plugs while you’re stretching. You can buy plugs in all sorts of materials [glass, wood, acrylic.. just to name a few] but they are very porous materials & bacteria can easily get on them & cause an infection. I bought a set on amazon for relatively cheap that is all stainless steel. It is both the tapers & the plugs, sizes 16-00. I also found a list of recommended wait times between stretches, while you’re still in the smaller sizes you only need to wait about a month for proper healing time, but as you get into the larger sizes it is recommended to wait anywhere from 2-4 months between stretches. It is definitely a process, but it is fun!
Also, I usually just use dish soap as a lubricant when stretching to a new size. Just do you research, there’s plenty of info available online. Ask if you have any specific questions! Good luck! 😊

I used jojoba oil to stretch. Always lube the jewelry and taper. Do NOT skip sizes. Wait at least a month between each stretch, it'll help to not rip your tissue and ensure it's healed.

Along with what Emily said; I personally use vitamin e oil, I believe it’s advised to size up atleast a month apart sometimes longer depending on how big the size and how your ears handle it and to reduce the risk of a blow out
