Reflexology anyone?

Has anyone tried reflexology to help with inducing labor? My friend does this and offered to try for me! Looking to hear any experiences if anyone has done this before thanks!!

I’m getting it done at 40+1. I’m very sceptical that it will ‘work’ but a friend is offering it for free as soon as I reach 40 weeks and it’s safe for bubba so why not? I wouldn’t pay for it though but that’s just me. 
Worst case scenario, it should give me some relief from the enormous, swollen puffballs that are currently masquerading as my feet! 🙄🙄🙄

Not sure if it’s similar/the same, but one of my good friends swears by the acupressure massage she found online! She has her husband do it for her, and she went into labor 12 hours later.

I actually went to a place the other day to try to get one (reflexology massage) and they refused services as they were worried I’d go into labor. I told them that’s what I was trying to bring on and my midwife is okay with it but they were clearly uncomfortable so i just said “ok. Thank you” and left. 🙄

I did with my first born. It brought on Braxton hicks but nothing came of them.
