Fused teeth?

Pretty sure my baby has two baby teeth fused together.. anyone seen this before?

Dentist here. It’s not unusual for baby teeth to have more variations and “malformations” and it in no way means the adult teeth will be affected in any way. This could be either tooth gemination or fusion (I think it’s gemination if I had to guess). Again, this is a harmless condition and you should not worry about it at all. When the time comes that s/he realizes it’s different, just make it a cool unique thing that makes him/her special. 😁

I’ve heard of it before-my cousin is a dentist. The permanent teeth aren’t usually like that. It may feel out late and watch the groove between bc it’s more susceptible to cavities
