I began bleeding on August 17th and finally delivered my baby in August 19th. I was informed that my baby suffered a fetal demise on around August 6th. I had blood work done on September 4th to test my HCG levels. My doctor told me today that my blood HCG levels are near zero, but I'm still showing positive on home pregnancy tests. She told me that it was strange that I was still showing positive on a pregnancy test. I've tried different brands, digital and traditional. How long did it take for you to get back to zero? My husband and I want to try again but I know I can't get pregnant while my body still thinks I already am.
