Will using an electric razor on my face make the hair grow back dark and thick?

I have PCOS and I have long hair on the sides of my face and I really want it gone but I’m afraid shaving it would make it grow back too dark and  thick. I have an electric shaver and I’m thinking it will work.. idk! HELP!!

That is a myth, if it were true we would have a cure for baldness and thinning hair. It only feels coarser or thicker due to being cut.

It won’t grow back different but cutting the hair causes it too look thicker because it’s mid shaft growth.
