My in-laws were like my second parents even before I started dating their son. Their daughter was my best friend, as she died in a car wreck four years ago where her brother was driving. I was very close to her and I absolutely loved her parents. Her brother was always gone doing things without a bunch of kids tagging along (he was five years older than us). But a year and a half ago or so, I met up with her big brother again and here we are. His parents still love me and they thought it was a little weird for us to be together at first, but after spending time with us they realized we really are meant to be together. Even though we got together in a very strange circumstance, things happen for a reason.

His mom hates me where as I call his father, dad and I've been told I'm welcome to stay even if me and my partner part ways, by he rest of his family.

I need a ok on the surface because we were friends before I started dating their son and I hate confrontation and I'm really good at being sweet, but his relationship with them is tense cause his mom's a controlling loon who's hardly left the house all year (for real) option
