Burp cloths...how many?

Hello, I am a first time mom, I love making burp cloths as a shower gift for others and was super excited to make my own for my baby. I have worked in childcare for years and know the importance of a nice burp cloth. However how many should I have for 1 baby? Silly question I know but I don't want too few or to overdo it lol.

I have about 10 and I think that's a good number. There's always one around even if some are in the wash. They also make good emergency diaper change pads, so I feel like it's good to have a bunch.

My daughter has really bad reflux. We've got about 15 burp rags, and I seriously consider buying more everyday. She's almost 7 months and still spits up pretty bad. But I would say to wait and see. If baby doesn't have terrible reflux, just a few will do. You can always get more. ☺️

I didn’t use burp rags I used receiving blankets for spit up and drool and everything else ! We have like 20

For my son I needed one all the time I bet I used 2-3  day. He was always spitting up. I found small receiving blankets worked the best. But with my daughter I think I've used a couple in 8 months. She doesnt spit up.
