Also depends on how much time off u get and when u plan to return to work. I get about 9 months paid. So it's a nice time frame I think, but if I'm considering   job opportunities that start in Sept (bc I'm a teacher) then I midaswell take the time considering I don't want to return to my current job.

Think it depends on why, how you’re feeling and how long you get.  If you have to go back to work a few weeks after baby comes that seems silly unless you CAN’T work anymore.
