Ftm mom here. How much swelling of the hands is normal?

My hands are SUPER swollen this morning.. it's uncomfortable to type with my thumbs lol. Pictures don't show it very well though. I can't wear my ring any more and I'd say my hands are almost (if not) double normal size

It’s not a lot of swelling. I’d mention it to your doctor but not panic

I’m waking up with swollen and aching thumbs and pointer fingers. I’m 28 weeks. Haven’t been able to wear my wedding ring for a couple weeks. Drink lots of water. Try and stretch out your hands when you wake up. That’s all I’m doing. I’ve noticed it doesn’t seem to matter what I eat 🤷‍♀️

Research adding salt to your diet to eliminate edema. I know it sounds contrary to usual methods (most people recommend cutting salt), but it is suggested by some off the beaten path doctors. I gave it a shot and have continued to use it. Anytime I swell I eat something with Himalayan salt and it’s gone within a few hours. I believe the key is issuing natural salts like Himalayan or Celtic salt, not just table salt.
