The less you wash your hair the better. I can go two weeks- almost two weeks without washing it. Sounds gross, but my hair always smells good and my stylist told me my hair is really healthy. I just got red hair a week ago and I got the Aminka color lock shampoo and conditioner.

Cool water, anything sulfate free for color from a salon. Do not use drug store products! I’m a hair stylist and I love AG, it’s a vegan line so I know it’s healthy for me and my baby!

Limit the amount of times you wash your hair... you really can go days without washing.  Depending on how oily your scalp gets you should only need to wash once or twice a week.  Remeber the natural oil our scalp produces is actually super healthy for our hair! Tip#2- use a sulfate free shampoo.  I've been a hairdresser for over a decade and some stylists will swear you need to use salon quality 25 dollar shampoo! Torally not true! L'oreal makes a beautiful sulfate de shampoo, made for redheads, that is kick ass ! Do a little investigating and make sure you for a sulfate free and you should be a-okay!
