3 month growth spurt

Hey ladies, my little guy was sleeping 6-7 hours straight at night then up for a feed and then back down for 4-5 more hours but the last few days he's been getting up at 2:00 and 6:00 eats and then back to sleep until 9:00 could this new waking pattern be due to a growth spurt? He's 2.5 months old but a big baby.
