Constipated baby?

Any tips or things to do to help my son poop! He hasn’t for 24 hours

Babies can go way longer than a day without pooping and they’re usually not constipated. Breast fed babies typically don’t poop as often since breast milk is so easily digested, which leaves very little waste. Some breastfed babies don’t go for up to two weeks. My EVF little guy has gone a full week without pooping and was not constipated. Formula feed babies can go 4-5 days without pooping. It’s normal.

24 hours without pooping isn’t  big deal at this age. Does he seem uncomfortable or like he is struggling to poop? If not, I would just wait it out. Maybe try a warm bath a tummy massage.

An ounce or two of water per day usually does the trick. Or, try using some probiotics. 
It may not be constipation though, babies can go a few days without pooping. Just make sure that the poo isnt hard when it comes out. As long as its soft, your baby is completely fine😁
