Baby proofing bed frame?

Any ideas on how to make this more safe? It’s metal and would definitely do damage if my baby fell or bumped into it...

Maybe securing the foam they use for pool noodles around it?

Pool noodles. Cheap. Easy. Effective. Just cut them in pieces and make a slit and they fit over most anything

My husband and i wrapped an old towel around it and used duck tape. Not pretty but it worked

Some type of edge cushion that you can trim down and around .. lots on amazon
