Pregnancy announcement ?

When are y’all making pregnancy announcements ? Are y’all waiting the full 12 weeks or until a heartbeat?

We were going to wait until 12 weeks, but I think we decided to tell our family next week (I’ll be 9 weeks and have had my first US). We are too excited and want to share our joy. Plus we know they’d be our biggest support if something does go wrong.

We will announce next week at 12 weeks. We had genetic testing (all clear) and 2 ultrasounds so I feel pretty ok about it at this point I think.

After I have my second ultrasound at 12.5 weeks. I’m actually trying to hold out longer  if at all possible. I’ve come to find out that with the happy responses, you also get a lot of rude ones so I want to keep my secret as long as I can.

I told family and best friends early.. first US is next week but will still probably wait until Easter for a cute announcement 🐰 until I hear the heartbeat and get excited and want to share earlier 🤣... but I’m determined to wait a little longer! I feel like the earlier I announce to the world the longer this pregnancy will feel 😆
