Toddler won’t sleep without touching me.
A little back story my daughter has not slept through the night since she was six months old. From six months until just about her first birthday I was getting up three to five times a night to pat her back to sleep. (We tried CIO but she would just always vomit on her self and crib). I found out I was pregnant with baby number two around her first birthday and the first trimester exhaustion had really took a toll on me along with morning sickness that I just resorted to co-sleeping to get as much rest as I could and now we’re at almost 14 months old and she can not sleep without rubbing my arm and wakes up multiple times a night to scoot nice and close to me. I am trying to transition her to her own room and her own bed but I’m at a loss of how to even start. I tried tonight and just ended up with her waking up every thirty minutes screaming for me. We tried my husband/her father going in the first two wakes to pat her and she would go back to sleep but wake up 30 minutes later so finally I went in to see if it would help and it did not. She sleeps great for her day nap in her own room in her crib but nights are a nightmare and with a new baby coming in late August early September I need this kid out of my bed. I know this is super long but literally any advice on this or where to start, tips or anything will be greatly appreciated.
