? Sperm mistaken as CM!?!?

Question

I’ve been tracking my CM. Sometimes I get the Raw Egg White CM, but a few days before I “should” ovulate.  Does sperm have that egg white texture the morning after BD??  We have been TTC for 7 months with no luck😔  
❣️Also, advise on ovulation test strips would be appreciated! I’m sure I need a bunch since this is my first time tracking cycle patterns 😂 idk what I’m doing!

You shouldn't check your cm after sex because semen can be mistaken for ewcm. As for opks l don't fully get how they work either. There's supposed to let you know when you're about to ovulate but sometimes they can be positive and you still don't ovulate or they can be positive for days because your body is trying over and over to ovulate but isn't managing to. Yes, that's very confusing and frustrating I know.  Ahhhhhhhhh🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️
