Those of you that have returned back to work.
How did your employees/ co workers react?
Today was my first day back.
I work in a family owned dealership. So it’s a close knit group, but a big company and lots of people. I’ve been there almost 3 years.
Not ONE person said “welcome back” or “congrats” or anything. I’m really hurt and taken back by it.
I got more “oh I thought you weren’t coming back” instead of “it’s nice seeing you.”
I worked my ass off on all of my projects that I do before I left (I work in service- not selling cars) and since I left all of my projects have gone to shit so I was expecting someone to be pleased that I’m finally back to fix it again.
Idk. The girl who had a baby last year was greeted with a “congrats welcome back” from everyone and our boss got here a $500 Luis V. gift.
Def wasn’t expecting that, but an acknowledgement would have been cool. Sorry about the rant..
