9 month old tantrums?

My son has just recently started throwing tantrums. He LOVES phones. And I’m not one to let him have my phone, or a tablet or watch cartoons, very often. Hardly ever really. But he loves them, and when he gets his hand on one, usually by accident, I take it away. And he will SCREAM. now, his cry up until now, has always been more of a whine. But now he’s turned it to a scream like he’s being hurt 🤦🏻‍♀️ so now if I set him down when he doesn’t want to be, take a phone or remote away, etc he throws a tantrum. Isn’t this too young for him to be doing this?? What should I do with him while he is screaming? I try to just ignore it and not pay attention to the bad behavior and let him calm down. Or to redirect him, but he isn’t redirected easily. Lol

Normal!! I just redirect which sometimes helps! But if not i leave him for a minute with a few toys OR I'll give him a drinks coaster (he loves those) and he calms down. I sometimes have to replace what I've taken from him with something he isn't usually allowed to hold but i don't mind him having 😂 
He loves our phones, the remote for the tv, keys, the remote for the fire....loads of black techy stuff 😂 
I bought him some baby toys from Amazon- remote, set of keys, and a mobile and he likes them but always wants the real thing!

My daughter is 11 months and has been doing this for quite some time now. My husband said the same thing, isn’t she too young to be acting like this? I’d love to know what works for other people because I can only say no so many times. I try not to say no all the time... but this girl is into everything and has full blown tantrums already. I already dread the teenage years

My 3 month old has started doing this! 😭 Not with phones but if you’re trying to put him to sleep or he’s not doing what he wants. So I don’t think it’s too early, I keep hearing all babies are different and that just means he’s smart.  Just keep redirecting because they’re too little to really be disciplined.   It should just be a phase as long as you don’t always give in to the tantrum.   Good luck though! It’s not nice especially in the middle of the night 😅

My 8 month olds fav song is “let it go” I have to play it three times (the max I can handle) sometimes she will cry loudly for my phone back. I lead her attention to something else just as noisy. Maybe a loud educational toy or loud building blocks. Something interesting so she forget about my phone.
