Planning to breastfeed??

This is my 3rd child and with my boys i didnt breastfeed them...so im alittle nervous. But in the mean time im looking more into it and getting excited about it. I also found a neat website with breastfeesding clothing!!!

Personally I love breastfeeding . This will be my third and I breastfed with both of my girls . The second one I breastfed until 18 months and the first 15months . I hope you find it joyful !! Remember : breastfeeding for the first two weeks is absolutely not fun . But there are plenty of support systems out there !! If you can hang in and everything is going according .. it will seriously be such a breeze . No bottles to pack when you’re on the go ! Good luck momma !

I tried so so hard with my first. I saw a lactation consultant three times a week, did everything she said, tried all the tips and tricks out there...still couldn’t make enough. My boobs also didn’t hardly change at all while I was pregnant. So honestly, I don’t think I’ll even try with this baby. It was traumatizing and depressing for me to try so hard and still fail. I wish you the best though! Seems like everyone around me has had great luck breastfeeding.

I'll pump for as long as I can but I don't think I will nurse. With my daughter I got horrible mastitis so I only pumped for about 4 months. If that happens again then I'm going to quit again

I’m so glad you’re wanting to give it a try! I loved breastfeeding my son! We went until roughly 17.5 months and had to wean due to unfavorable circumstances. Hoping to make it to 2+ years with this baby! 💖

Unsure. I have underdeveloped breast tissue and will never be able to fully feed a child. My first I didnt nurse at all because of my issue and he had a tongue tie that they didn’t clip back then. I was absolutely devastated. My second I nursed half and half for 14 months but of course could produce enough. My third I nursed half and half for a month but I ended up with severe postpartum depression and could handle it. My fourth I nursed half and half for seven weeks but I was dealing with some bad health stuff at the time from my pregnancy and I couldn’t take it. So honestly I am considering not even trying this time and going straight to formula. I am high risk and I don’t need anything else to stress me out even after baby is born. I’m torn.

I’m on the fence. I breastfed my first for 15 months. She was allergic to milk, soy, and a bunch of other things which made my diet severely limited. I don’t have the patience like I did five years ago with my first and I’m a lot busier. If this next baby is like my first, they’ll probably get hypoallergenic formula to save my sanity.

I didnt breastfeed my first 2 but decided when I was prego with my twins that I would try. I also have flat nipples so I had to wear shields but both twins latched immediately (born at 33w3d) which made it so much easier. I never had a problem making milk either. This time i plan on breastfeeding again, honestly it's what I'm most excited about. Not a fan of being pregnant

I’m still nursing my first at 9 months old, and honestly I’m so sick of it and wanna quit but I’ve made it this far and I don’t wanna pay for formula. I plan on nursing my second but I don’t know if I’ll last a full year. I don’t know if I can mentally handle doing it that long again.

I was unable to with my first because my milk never came in (I tried everything!), and with my second, I seen a lactation consultant multiple times and baby couldn’t latch, or wouldn’t I don’t know. We tried nipple guards, different nursing pillows, we tried a bunch of different stuff and he just refused to latch. I don’t think I will try with this one, it’s not worth my sanity or my baby starving trying to figure it out.
