Everest

Angel

I'm watching a show from years ago about all these people that are about to attempt to climb Everest and it got me thinking about how some of them haven't ever climbed a day in their life and the gamble that they took with their lives.

In my opinion I feel as though you need a minimum amount of successful climbs on various other mountains before you can even begin to be accepted to climb Everest as opposed to the tourist destination, death trap, and money pit that it is for people today. I just feel as though a lot less lives would be lost if there was a climb requirement that needed to be reached before even setting foot at base camp.

What do you all think?
