What’s happening to me? :(

Question

I’ve been on birth control for over a year and my boyfriend and I have sex maybe once a week and I am 12 days late for my period. I took a test on days 4, 8, and 12 of being late and they are all coming up as a clear negative. I’m 18 but if I’m pregnant I wouldn’t be able to hide going to the doctor and getting an abortion from my parents (they’re pro-life a hell btw) and I just don’t know what to do.

Some people start to have a lessening of their period when on birth control.  When I took it regularly, I only experienced light spotting.  You may be one of those people.  Checking with your doctor is the only surefire way to confirm.

after a year of being on birth control my friend stopped getting her period and has not gotten it for a year so it’s normal.
