Y'all I can't believe this.

I'm getting married on Friday. It's a teachers work day so I get off earlier than usual. It bummed me out that I couldn't take off a day and have a whole day (my supervisor isn't the greatest 🙄) so we decided to rush to the courthouse with just us to and "do the paperwork". However, my family consists of a bunch of alcoholics and they backed out of their part to make it happen. Such as witnessing and watching our kids. A few days ago I mentioned this to another teacher who I've became good friends with (I have only taught there for a few months) and she begged to come and witness! Then 4-5 other teachers that I've become friends with were like "Wow me too!" And asking me questions about my hair, my dress, asking what I wanted for presents and "girling" with me. At first I was like "No it's not like that, it's a super quick thing." But they helped me start feeling like a bride. Then, my fiance's grandparents were like "Go out to dinner afterwards! Anywhere! We will pay." So then afterwards, we are all going to Cheesecake factory. Then last night I'm talking to our photographer and cancelling a qoute I got a few months ago and she said "You know what? I'll do it for free! Everyone deserves pictures of their wedding day!" And offered to follow us from the JOP and to Cheesecake Factory!! As we are riding home, I was thinking "Wow this is really coming together. I wish I had a dress or something." A few seconds after that thought, I get a text coupon from Lane Bryant (I'm a little thick lolol) for $50 off of $100!! I rush right in and I find this SUPER cute dress (pictures coming) THAT HAS POCKETS!! I know this sounds super lame but my heart is so full and I had to share. It hurts me that my grandparents that raised me (alcoholics) won't show up or really care (because they said they are too concerned with my grandpa's DUI right now) but everyone came together and is showing us so much love and support. I would take a few friends a thrown together night of fun than a huge, stressful, expensive wedding any day!
