Sudden morning sickness?

I am 16+1 weeks and haven’t puked up to this point. I got this annoying cough yesterday and this morning my boyfriend made me some tea, and about 45 minutes or so after drinking it I suddenly threw up. Not sure if that’s normal or if it’s just from me coughing quite a bit. I have a doctors appointment today so I plan on asking about it but I was just wondering if anybody else had experienced this.

Since about 14 weeks I gag when I cough and have occasionally been sick because of it. I have also been sick twice while brushing my teeth - I'm 24 weeks now and thought the sickness was gone for good!

I have thrown up from having a tickle in my throat several times this pregnancy. And coughing always makes me gag terribly. It’s something that just starts up your gag reflex and it’s normal unfortunately.

It happen to me over the weekend. But I had some water then 45 minutes later it came back up.
